This Privacy Policy explains what data DayMaster collects, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. We aim to collect as little as possible and use it only to deliver your reading.

1. What we collect

When you order a reading, we collect:

Your name or chosen display name — you may use any name; we do not require legal identity
Your email address — for delivering your reading
Your birth data — date, time (or approximate window), and city of birth
Your selected question topic and any optional context you provide
Payment information — handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy. We never see your card details.

We also automatically collect basic technical data when you visit our site (browser type, approximate location, pages visited) via privacy-respecting analytics.

2. What we don't collect

We do not collect:

Your legal name (unless you choose to provide it)
Your government ID or address
Your payment card details (handled by Lemon Squeezy)
Any health, religious, or political information beyond what you voluntarily share in your question

3. How we use your data

We use your data solely to:

Produce your personalized reading
Deliver it via email
Respond to your messages and follow up after delivery
Improve our service in aggregate, anonymized form
Send you optional updates if you opted in (you can unsubscribe anytime)

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose unrelated to delivering your reading.

4. Anonymity

You may order a reading using any display name and any email address (including aliases). We do not require, verify, or seek out your legal identity. Your reading is private by default — we will never publish your name, birth data, or reading content without your explicit, written permission.

5. Who has access

Your data is accessible only to the two-person DayMaster team for the purpose of preparing and delivering your reading. We use the following third-party services, which process minimal data on our behalf:

Lemon Squeezy — payment processing
Notion — internal order tracking
Gmail / Google Workspace — email delivery
Tally — form submissions
Anthropic (Claude) — assists in drafting interpretive text; queries do not retain your identifying details beyond the reading session

6. Data retention

We retain your order data for 24 months after delivery for customer support purposes (e.g., if you request a re-send or have a question). After that, we delete or anonymize it. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 8).

7. International data transfers

DayMaster is operated from Indonesia. Some of our service providers (Lemon Squeezy, Google, Notion, Anthropic) are based in the United States. By using our service, you consent to your data being processed in those jurisdictions.

8. Your rights

Regardless of where you live, you have the right to:

Request a copy of the data we hold about you
Request correction of any inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data at any time
Unsubscribe from any optional communications
Object to how we process your data

9. Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies only — no advertising or tracking cookies. We use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate.

10. Children

Our service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to order on your behalf.

11. Changes

We may update this policy occasionally. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Material changes will be announced via email if you've subscribed to updates.
